The red M6 sold for $65.1k yesterday, less than I expected :-k

Although collectors cars usually don't bob around in price as much as everyday vehicles, they do somewhat follow the overall price trends. The recent insanity of used car prices going through the roof seems to be over, or at least a lot less crazy than ~2 years ago. Watching Wayne Carini's Chasing Classic Cars serves to show that even high-dollar collectible cars have gone through ups and downs in price. A Jag 120 he had sold for much less than it changed hands for 2 years earlier.

This can be summed up in three words: It's the economy.
