Am I a traitor?

Post by bpoliakoff »

I fell into a 2000 Jag Stype. It has a supercharged, DOHC V6 in it and goes like stink. It has only 65K on it and looks and drives as new. I found
it in Sun City which is a huge retirement community. It was at a give away price and I couldn't say no.

Brian - Is there a way we can "filter" Bert's posts going forward? We really don't want this sickness to spread.

Ha! Sounds like a fun score. At least it's sort of european! Have fun with it and post some pictures.

Not to worry, Bert, I'm sure that most, if not all of us, have other brands of vehicles :-"

Hey Bert,

I joined the traitors club last August. Just like you I had no choice.

Enjoy your new chariot.

Of course you're not!

I never deprive myself of a new (read, old) motor when I find a suitable candidate for sale. Such fun buying them and getting to work on them.

I bought a '99 Jeep Cherokee Orvis over the weekend and I'm looking forward to picking it up tomorrow

E24s remain my only true love though (apart from the missus!).

Here you go. I did make a dumb mistake. As a semi newbie of Jaguars, I assumed the "S" in model type meant supercharged. It isn't. Still goes rapid even with a 3 liter motor
