I really like these staggered 16s (made by Ronal \ MSW) on my car:

16 inch staggered BBS RA or RS.
The cross spokes that came on the US M6 look nice but are TRX.
Outside of that, nothing to me looks quite right. Some are better than other, many (most?) are pretty bad to horrible. To my eyes.

I still think 16" Alpina black center open lugs are amazing and as good as it gets.
The 2 or 3 piece WEDS and H&B's are possibly the only better looking wheels.

Re: What do you think the best looking rims are for the shark?
Shown are newly refurbished ACTs, 16x8.5 front and rear, ET11, with new Continental rubber. An original OEM wheel, very similar to the classic BBS RS mesh look but minor differences in the details. I looked pretty hard at every single post in this (excellent) thread before picking these. I like the Hartge, Alpinas, throwing stars and the rest... but mesh is just the best match for this car IMHO:
For reference, I purchased the car with these OEM BBS RCs, 15" x 7.5" front and rear, ET15. Not a bad look, kinda lean, can work well on a lowered car. But in the end 15" is a bit underwhelming...

Haha, yeah it's real personal for us Sixers.
Luckily I don't like most and I am partial to 16's.
Hey maybe you'd like my old 17x 8.5 Borbets, I never did sell them.

Agreed, and posted earlier in this thread. Also a PITA to clean. Worth the effort in my mind. I may change my tune when I hit 70 though.

I'm 72, and that much effort became not worth it about 5 years ago.

I am 81 and you are right but not really that much work if you tore them down and restored them

Re: What do you think the best looking rims are for the shark?
I also like the original wheels but was not impressed with the rather dull factory color, especially with a black car.
I removed the grey paint, painted the wheel gloss black, then polished the rim, center section and radial fins on my 635CSi. Did a similar thing with my M6.
That produced the original wheel with a very different look. I plan to buy new TRX tires when it is time.
