Getting ready for paint on the M6 and have mirrors off and on bench.
Can’t for the life of me remember how to get the rubber trim off like I did once before when I painted with rattle can.
I must of taken glass out and don’t remember that process either.
Access thru holes on bottom to get a release for glass? Don’t remember having to heat it to loosen any adhesive
Search told me nothing
Any help?
TIA

Re: Side mirror trim
Got the plate with the adhered glass off by prying gently with trim tool till the four round pegs came free.
Still the plastic cover seems unmovable. No release from inside as you can see. I can wedge it off a bit from painted cover but something is holding it down. There has got to be some kind of release.
Done picking it at for now, starting to ding it up.
Hmmmm
