Complete Brake system refresh

Post by silberlingcooper »

So im starting to get around to the brake portion of my 83 633csi rebuild that sat 20 years i wanted to put together a full list of things to replace and rebuild. I'm not going 100% nut and bolt resto so i don't want to get into doing anything to complicated, so far ive got

- rebuild kits for all 4 calipers that i will also be painting, including new clips, wear sensors, pads, etc..
- all 6 new brake lines
- new rotors and set screws

anything else major that isn't too hard to replace i should add? maybe the brake bomb?

from my understanding the master cylinder is not rebuildable correct? so i figure if theres nothing wrong with it, id rather leave it alone. I also did get a set of 6 braided brake lines so those should be good.
