National Motoring Heritage Day NSW

Post by garyw51 »

On Sunday MAY 18 the Australian Motoring Federation will be hosting the National Motoring Heritage Day at Mittagong Public School. I am organising a run from Liverpool via the Old Hume Highway to Mittagong for the BMWDCNSW but I would like to invite all bigcoupe members to join - you do not have to be a BMW club member. There will be BMWs from Canberra and a range of other vehicles to look at from numerous other clubs including the British and European Car Club based in the southern highlands. Come along and have a good day. We are meeting at the McDonalds Megacentre cnr Cumberland Highway and Viscount Place Liverpool for an 8.30am departure. If you prefer you can drive straight down the boring freeway for a 10am arrival at Mittagong. I would love to see as many 6 series as possible.

Hi Gary,
What is it exactly, a display event like the show and shine where we all park in a paddock or big car park? If so how long would it be likely to go on for. I'm interested.

Regards
Paul

my parents are in Bowral and Dad's a member of the BECC. He has an old 1.5 litre Riley, the older 1949 version not the cars that look like old minis.

Will mention it to Rosie re staying the night at my parents. She can drive down with the baby and I can take one of the BMW's.

Thanks for the notification Gary.

Best

Hi Gary,

Sounds like a good day, if I can get away from footy I'm in.

Hi Gary,
Sorry but i'm going to have to give this a miss. With last week's long drive i need a full weekend at home to catch up with all the house and garden work.
