Following on from all our other meetings at RAF Hendon, let's meet there again.
The Museum continues to enhance its exhibits and it is a very interesting venue for an E24 meeting with many unusual things to see.
I suggest start time from 10.30 although they are again promising to reserve us a prime parking space. Cafe opens at 11.00 so we are likely to be in there quite quickly.
We will need to pay a parking charge.
I will send a map to everyone on my email lists. But do contact me for questions etc at [email protected]

Another excellent Sunday Brunch meeting at RAF Hendon museum. Our sixth visit. Thank you very much everybody for coming. And a particular thanks to Richard Baxter, BMW Car Club Chairman, for coming in his very historic E9. It was very useful to be able to talk to Richard about developments at the Car Club and I was personally very heartened by his support. First time attenders were Colin Marlow in his excellent red CSi and Gavin Spencer in his immaculate very low mileage 1986 black CSi which has the ultra rare manual gear box. Gavin acquired this treasured car from his grandfather and has worked with great taste to refresh its appearance. Gavin is hoping to publish a report in Straight Six about his car. Also attending were Bob Gray, Ted Robinson, Darren Senerat – complete with new baby and family (not many E24s can be found with a properly fitting baby seat) – Oren Paynton with his son in his white 628 and Ian Ellis. 9 cars in total and we were accompanied by four lady partners. The weather was glorious and once again the many extraordinary aviation exhibits attracted the interest of everybody.
Regards, John Rogers
