Hiu,
I need new rubber absorbers for my 635CSi from 1979. It should be part 31331121835 but I can't find anywhere to buy it. The corresponding part 31331117662 for 633CSI is available and looks very similar. Anyone knows if it fits?
This is for 633CSI:

Re: Rubber absorber for series 1
The aspect that really needs to be like for like is the diameter of the centre hole and which in turn will match the diameter of the damper rod. But I'm afraid I don't know how universal the rod diameters are across different models.
If you can find and alternative version that fits, strictly speaking you'd also want to ensure that the relative hardness is the same, but I personally wouldn't see that as vital.

Agree. Axle diameter is 22mm but very few list the diameter so it is difficult to find any universal option.
Re: Rubber absorber for series 1
22mm for the rod diameter seems quite a lot?
But if true, how about these?

Phil,
Thank you for the hint. I just found an alternative from Febi Bilstein that I will try and let you know here how it works!

Update: This FEBI BILSTEIN part 01828 worked great as a replacement!
