Clutch/flywheel compatibility

Post by rrrs »

Hi, I have a possibility to buy a complete re-surfaced flywheel and clutch with all associated components (pressure plate, pilot bearing) from 1984 633.
1) Would that complete '84 633 setup fit to my 1985 635 with G265 gearbox?
2) Would 1984 633 have a lighter flywheel than my 1985 635 or they would be the same?

Pressure plate #'s don't match, only the disks look compatible.

Yes, but Item#10 that is the whole clutch set #21219069012 seems to be the same for 633 built after 3/1984....really strange?!
