Hi guys,
Recently my servotrnoic star playing up, and the steering wheel would move a bit on its own (like 1/3 of an inch).
I removed the plug going to the servotnonic solenoid valve and the issue disappear immediately, unfortunately with the steering assistance.
I have read a bit about the Servotronic module and it is a semi-common issue, there appear to be x 3 options:
- a new type of Servotronic module that looks a bit like a relay ( I believe it to be the same as the late E32/34's) which requires and adapter
- fined 2nd hand original module
- fit 10-16 Ohm resistor
However I am not able to locate the unit, could you please tell me where it is? Also if someone has a working module for sale please send me a PM.

Re: Servotronic module issue
Thank you very much, it seems to be near the Engine ECU behind/above the glove box, once I am with the car I will check.86_6series wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 11:58 am First photo on pdf page 143, REALOEM page 7000-7.
