My 1984 BMW M635 on Bring a Trailer

Post by BCMac »

Good day all,

I have decided to sell my 1984 BMW M635 #671 and have it on Bring a Trailer presently. Delphin Gray Metallic over anthracite buffalo leather interior. 91k miles. I have enjoyed this car a great deal, but need space in the garage for whatever comes my way next.

Happy to show the car locally, cheers!

Stunning car.

I added my comment and plug to it.

It should bring north of $50k.

I was relieved to see that car surpass my $57,500 valuation hunch. Bring-a-Trailer insisted the reserve should be 10K lower, so I made a bit of a gamble by agreeing to that. They want to sell the car, after all. The fellow who bought the car is new to the E24, but has a clear appreciation for Paul Bracq's coupe - especially the M635 - and will be a good steward I think.

I may come to miss this car, though after ten years of enjoying this superlative automobile, its time to move on. Perhaps to an early euro 635. I prefer the aesthetics of the E12-based cars over the later machines, mostly.

For now I've got the chestnut red metallic 1982 633csi to keep me firmly planted in the E24 word. One fine example of an E24 is an absolute must in life.

Congrats!
Good to see that nice cars are still getting price they deserve!
Cars on BAT get a lot of exposure with the right buyer. I think it's better then listing a car on eBay.
