Lemans24HR -2023

Post by sideshowbob »

Went to the Lemans24 HR race, just returned in the 635CSi .....ran faultlessly.
Camped on Houx campsite and had grandstand seats
Weather was beautiful
Crowds were amazing, alot of our American friends supporting Cadillac and the Corvette, quite right as Cadillac did an amazing job
Night out in Leman on the Friday and Sunday was the usual bar hopping and eating great meals and wine at reasonable prices and super quality.

Saturday night at Tetra Rouge was the usual mayhem, added to by the mayhem on the track when the heavens opened up

Crowd went berserk when Ferrari won, especially with the last minute pit drama with the lead car, sorry for Toyota who put in a strong effort but it just wasn't their year !

Alot of support for Porsche and Peugeot who put a strong fight and made a race of it.

A massive effort by the organisers who made this Centenary running one of the best I have attended,

Now getting ready for the 2023 Classic in a couple of weeks time !!
